Sprint EVO 4G Specification

What do you get when you take the HTC HD2, adding WiMax 4G connectivity, front-facing camera, and using Android is not Windows Mobile? You get a 4G EVO HTC! Sprint has been running 4G EVO to the market, giving the distinction of being the only U.S. carrier to carry a smartphone 4G.
Along with that, 4G EVO offers other claims to fame: he can do live video chat, the first Android device to natively support high-quality YouTube, has a kickstand, and has an HDMI port to output a video projector or larger television. On paper, EVO 4G is a monster: it's really the most powerful and feature-rich device Android to ever see the light of day. But how to do it fare as a daily driver? Read this review before buying 4G EVO.

Speaking of specs, EVO 4G is not too different from the One, Incredible Droid Nexus, and Desire, if you consider the core specification. This device has QSD8650 Qualcomm's Snapdragon CPU clocking in at 1GHz, running on Android 2.1 (upgrade Froyo will be published in 2010, although you can get it quickly from xda-developers). It has just 512MB of RAM, plus 1GB of ROM. It also comes with an 8GB microSD card for storage, although this is expandable up to 32GB.

Capacitive backlit LCD display is the traditional and the 4.3 "WVGA resolution and, in common with the HD2 this:. EVO is the 4G has a ton of wireless radios and components of WiFi, WiMax, CDMA, Bluetooth, FM Radio, GPS (assisted), and even a digital compass . For imaging, there are two cameras. Front camera taking photos at 1.3MP and video at VGA resolution, while the rear camera (with dual LED flash) takes 8MP stills and video at 720p,. For the video came out, there are D microHDMI type connectors, and for synchronization and charging us have microUSB. Battery 1500mAh, although we hope it is twice the size.

HTC EVO 4G is governing device that gets attention. front is decorated with large screen 4.3 "and a thin bezel that really makes the screen pop the front is a piece of glass flush .. Sprint logo on the upper right corner is larger than the HTC logo. EVO 4G is great. If you have held HD2, you know that even if the device has a large screen, it still feels small manageability to the point where it still feels like a phone. This is not the case for 4G EVO. It feels more like a small slate computer than a phone no. In this photo, you can see the profile of HD2 (right) compared with the HD2. There is a difference that is thick and heavy.

Overall, the 4G EVO is a fast device. When running some applications I do not have a problem with the slower devices, nor is there much of a delay when launching the application for the first time. I ran into a few bugs that cause the device both to shut by itself, or crash the application (such as HTC Mail, Contacts, etc.). That said, this bug occurs before a software update on 5 June, so it may be that these issues have been resolved by this update.

Though I EVO 4G performance appraisal in the "big" ... I want to see him in "excellent." For devices that deliver the next generation of cellular data, I expect incredible performance. There is a possibility that once released for 4G Froyo EVO, we will see that the increase in speed device that will make things right again.
