Acer is a step into new territory by introducing the Aspire One netbook E100. It seems like the D255, but this is a dual-boot Android / Windows netbook is loaded with educational software, then the "E" in their name. Netbook is a collaboration between Acer and the European Schoolnet.
Features include 10.1-inch screen with 1024 x 600 resolution, the Atom processor is not specified, 1GB RAM, 250GB of internal storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and up to eight hours of battery life. And because it serves students and teachers, containing added specifications such as the cover is adjusted where the school logo can be placed, and the pocket where the tag name can be inserted.
Donald Melanson from Engadget says that the E100 Acer aims of the education market, and you can see that there is room for branding the school. No details for the release date or price, but must be sufficiently low in a competitive marketplace.
